General Terms and Conditions of the nordblanc.com Online Shop
These General Terms and Conditions apply to purchases that you make as a consumer in our online shop at www.nordblanc.com. Please read the terms before you place your order.

Your seller and contracting party is:
NORD E-COM B.V.

6049 LX Herten
The Netherlands
RSIN: 860938293
VAT registration number: NL860938293B01

The address above is not intended for returns or complaints. Parcels sent there cannot be processed. Instructions for returning goods and for making a complaint about them can be found in clauses 8 and 9 of these terms and on the Returns and Complaints page.
2. Scope of Application
(1) These terms define the rights and obligations between NORD E-COM B.V. (“we”) and you, the buyer (“you”), when you purchase goods from the online shop.
(2) We sell only to consumers, that is, natural persons who buy mainly for a purpose other than their business activity. The goods are sold for private use, in normal quantities corresponding to household needs.
(3) If we have entered into a separate agreement with you, it takes precedence over these terms to the extent that it deviates from them.
(4) These terms do not limit your rights under mandatory consumer protection legislation, such as the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (kuluttajansuojalaki 38/1978).
3. Contract Language and Storage of the Terms
The contract is concluded in Finnish. You can read the terms on our website at any time and save or print them using your browser’s functions. After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email with the details of your order.
4. Placing an Order and Conclusion of the Contract
(1) The presentation of products in the online shop is not a binding offer but an invitation to make an offer, that is, to place an order.
(2) You add the goods to the cart, go to the checkout, fill in the required information, select the delivery and payment methods and review the order. Before you submit the order, you can at any time go back to the previous step, correct your information or cancel the purchase.
(3) When you press the button to complete and pay for the order (the order obliges you to pay), you make a binding offer to purchase the goods and accept these terms.
(4) We confirm your order by email. The contract is concluded when you have received the order confirmation.
(5) If an ordered item cannot be delivered, for example because it is out of stock, or if the price has been stated manifestly incorrectly, we have the right to cancel the contract with respect to that item. In that case we will inform you without delay and refund the amount you paid for the item.
5. Customer Account
You can create a customer account or shop without an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. We may close an account that has not been used for a long time or that is being misused. You can request the deletion of your account at any time.
6. Prices and Payment
(1) All prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include value added tax (VAT 25.5%). Shipping costs are added to the price of the goods and are shown at checkout before you complete the order. The delivery methods are described on the Payment and Shipping page.
(2) If a price changes, the price that was shown when you placed your order applies to your order.
(3) You can pay using the payment methods available at checkout, which include, for example, debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Payments are handled by our payment service providers Shopify Payments and PayPal.
(4) You agree that receipts, invoices and other communications relating to your purchase are sent electronically.
7. Delivery
(1) We deliver the goods to Finland, excluding the Åland Islands.
(2) We deliver the goods, depending on the delivery method you choose, either to the pick-up point (DPD) that you select in the order or to the delivery address (GLS) that you state in the order. The estimated delivery time is shown at checkout. Unless otherwise agreed, we deliver the goods without delay and no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract.
(3) If delivery is delayed, we will inform you. Your rights in the event of delayed delivery are determined under Chapter 5 of the Consumer Protection Act.
(4) The risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes to you when you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.
(5) If the parcel is visibly damaged or incomplete on delivery, please also report this to the carrier and contact us as soon as possible. This does not affect your statutory rights.
(6) The goods remain our property until they have been paid for in full.
8. Right of Withdrawal and 30-Day Right of Return
(1) Under Chapter 6 of the Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase, that is, from the contract, within 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods (statutory right of withdrawal). If the order is delivered in several consignments, the period is calculated from the day on which you received the last consignment.
(2) In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we voluntarily extend the period to 30 days from receipt of the goods (30-day right of return). The extension is voluntary and goes beyond what the law requires. The same terms as for the statutory right of withdrawal apply throughout the entire 30-day period.
(3) You withdraw from the purchase by notifying us of your decision before the period has expired, for example using the return function in your customer account or on the order status page, by email to info.fi@nordblanc.com or using the model withdrawal form at the end of these terms. You can withdraw from the entire order or only from part of it. Use of the model withdrawal form is not mandatory. It is sufficient that you send the notice before the period has expired.
(4) You must return the goods without delay and no later than 14 days after you notified us that you are withdrawing from the purchase. You bear the direct cost of the return. If you use a return code that you have received from us for the return, we charge € 5 for its use, which is deducted from the refund. You will receive more detailed return instructions from us by email after you have given notice of withdrawal, and you can also find general instructions on the Returns and Complaints page.
(5) We refund the amount you paid for the returned goods without delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal from the purchase. If you withdraw from the entire order, we also refund the original shipping costs in accordance with the least expensive standard delivery method, but we do not refund additional costs arising from your choice of a more expensive delivery method, for example express delivery. We pay the refund using the same payment method that you used for the purchase, unless you expressly agree to another method; the refund will not cause you any costs. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have shown that you have sent them, whichever occurs first.
(6) You may handle the goods in the same way as in a shop in order to assess their properties and fit. If you have handled the goods more than is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, you are liable for any diminished value of the goods, and we may make a corresponding deduction from the refund. Therefore, try on clothes and shoes carefully in a clean and dry indoor space and leave the labels attached.
(7) The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that have been made to your specifications or that are clearly personalised, nor to sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons and whose packaging has been opened or whose seal has been broken after delivery. The right of withdrawal does not apply either in the other cases provided for in Chapter 6 of the Consumer Protection Act.
(8) If you have received a gift together with the goods and you withdraw from the purchase, you must also return the gift.
9. Complaints and Liability for Defects
(1) You have the right to complain about defective goods under Chapter 5 of the Consumer Protection Act. We are liable for a defect that the goods had at the time of delivery, even if the defect appears only later. No fixed time limit has been laid down for our liability for defects: our liability lasts for the expected useful life of the goods, taking into account their price, quality and purpose of use. For example, the passing of two years from delivery does not in itself prevent a complaint.
(2) If a defect appears within 12 months of delivery of the goods, it is presumed to have existed in the goods already at the time of delivery, unless the contrary is shown or unless this is incompatible with the nature of the goods or of the defect.
(3) You must notify us of the defect within a reasonable time after you noticed the defect. A notice that you give within two months after you noticed the defect is always deemed to have been given in due time.
(4) If the goods are defective, you are entitled in the first instance to demand that the goods be repaired or replaced with a new item. If this is not possible, or if it does not take place within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction or to cancel the purchase. However, the purchase cannot be cancelled if the defect is minor. You may also be entitled to damages under the Consumer Protection Act.
(5) Liability for defects does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by incorrect handling or use of the goods after delivery, for example by failure to follow the care instructions on the label of the goods (washing at the wrong temperature, tumble drying, dry cleaning or ironing, if the item cannot withstand it), or by an accident.
(6) How to make a complaint: send an email to info.fi@nordblanc.com with your order number, a brief description of the defect and, ideally, photos. Do not send the goods to us before you have received our instructions. If the complaint is justified, we will bear the cost of return shipping and reimburse the reasonable costs you have incurred as a result of the complaint.
(7) We confirm that we have received your complaint and respond to it as soon as possible, usually within 30 days. If we do not accept the complaint, we will explain our reasons to you in writing and at the same time inform you of the possibility of contacting the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta, KRIL).
10. Personal Data
We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). More information can be found on the Privacy and Cookie Policy page.
11. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied, we would first and foremost like to resolve the matter together with you. Please contact us at info.fi@nordblanc.com. If we cannot reach an agreement, you can seek advice from the Consumer Advisory Services (Kuluttajaneuvonta; Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, Kilpailu- ja kuluttajavirasto, www.kkv.fi) and, if necessary, bring the matter before the Consumer Disputes Board (KRIL, www.kuluttajariita.fi). The Consumer Disputes Board is an out-of-court dispute resolution body. As we are a Dutch company, you can also request advice and assistance from the European Consumer Centre (ECC Finland). You can also bring the matter before a court.
12. Governing Law
Finnish law applies to the contract.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may change these terms. The terms that were in force when you placed your order apply to your order.
